Lotus Behavioral Health is seeking an LPN to provide on-site nursing and attendant care for adolescents in a residential behavioral health setting. You will monitor health, administer medications, maintain medical records, and coordinate medical services in alignment with the mission and core values of Lotus Behavioral Health.

The role requires an active LPN license in Florida, with preferred experience in behavioral health or adolescent care.

Qualificações

• CPR Certification preferred

• Screen residents for medical/dental exams and schedule appropriate medical appointments
• Adhere to policies, procedures and mandatory abuse reporting requirements
• Supervise and coordinate care as part of an interdisciplinary team

Lotus Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The LPN will provide nursing care and support to adolescents in a residential behavioral health setting, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all clients. This position plays a vital role in supporting the clinical and medical team by monitoring client health, administering medications, maintaining medical records, and assisting in coordinating medical services.

Responsibilities

The LPN provides on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents residing in Lotus BH facilities. The LPN is expected to perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the mission and core values of Lotus Behavior Health and comply with all policies and procedures, OSHA, HIPAA, local, state, and federal, regulations.

Qualifications

Basic Education and Experience Required:

• Must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Florida
• Experience in behavioral health, residential, or adolescent care preferred
• CPR Certification preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide direct care and nursing services to residents as prescribed by program regulations, and/or individual treatment plan, including collecting medical specimens.

Maintains records, including but not limited to Medication Administration, medical records, medical charts, etc. Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings as needed.

Responsible for preventing client abuse by adhering to all policies and procedures, attending periodic training, reporting suspicious and inappropriate behavior, and following mandatory abuse reporting requirements.

• Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures.
• Obtains patient data and vital signs and reports findings to the RN/Medical Director.
• Screen residents for medical/dental exams and schedule appropriate medical appointments including dental, vision, & clinical, providing medical information on a need-to-know basis.
• Comply with all reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, medical protocols, etc.
• Attendance at meetings per prior arrangement, and participation as an interdisciplinary team member.
• Supervision will be provided.

Pay

$25.00 to $27.00 per hour withdifferential
