PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work full-time in the medical department at the Garrett County Detention Center in Oakland, MD. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care under RN supervision and ensuring secure handling of electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintain and update electronic medical records securely.
• Maintain records of controlled substances, narcotics, and sharps per laws.
• Conduct sick calls for inmates/patients and provide treatment per protocol.
• Observe, report, and document symptoms, reactions, and progress; contribute to care plan.
• Record, retrieve, and file medical information in inmate/patient records.
