Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shift at the Jennifer Road Detention Center in Annapolis, MD. The nurse will provide comprehensive care under RN supervision and manage electronic medical records with strict confidentiality.

The role requires Maryland LPN licensure, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting, and experience in correctional health care is a plus. A 2-week orientation and on-the-job shadowing are included.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice nursing in Maryland
• Experience in correctional health care is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and assess patients per protocol

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care under RN supervision
• Maintain, update, and secure electronic medical records
• Record, supervise controlled substances and sharps per laws
• Conduct sick calls and treat illnesses/injuries per protocol
• Observe, report symptoms and participate in care planning
• Document information in inmate/patient medical records
