Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time LPN (Medical) to join the team at Hamilton Correctional Institution in Jasper, Florida, under the Florida Department of Corrections.

You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, under RN and medical staff supervision, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Shifts are day, with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or the ability to obtain one.
• Active CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
