Assumes responsibilities for direct nursing care of assigned inmates/patients, adolescent through adult, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician in a correctional facility which may house 1,300-2,000 inmate/patients. Serves an underserved, high-need population experiencing mental health issues, substance use disorders and complex medical needs. Provides nursing services to patients in accordance with the scope of the Licensed Practical Nurse license.
