Maricopa County Correctional Health Services (CHS) is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join the jail health team. You will administer medications, deliver comprehensive patient care, and participate in planning and evaluation of nursing care for inmates.

The position requires an unrestricted LPN license (AZ or equivalent multi-compact), experience with medication passes, and IV therapy/venipuncture certification. Shifts include day and night options within Phoenix-area facilities.

Formación

• Valid, unrestricted LPN license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or a recognized multi-compact state license
• Experience in a medical setting with large medication passes
• IV Infusion Therapy/Venipuncture certification is valued

Responsabilidades

• Administer medications and therapeutic treatments to inmates
• Provide comprehensive nursing care and patient education
• Collaborate with Sheriff's Detention Officers and health team
• Monitor patient progress and document care activities
• Participate in orientation and training of staff and contract personnel
