Qualifications
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Possesses an active CPR certification.
- Remains knowledgeable about state laws governing practice.
- Completes initial and annual clinical competencies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality patient care within LPN scope.
- Administer medications to offenders.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes.
- Document actions in MAR and medical records.
- Cares for wounds with proper cleaning and dressings.
