Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join the team at Charles B. Webster Detention Center in Augusta, Georgia. This full-time role offers stable shifts, competitive wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide patient care within the LPN scope, perform routine nursing duties, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document in the MAR under supervision. Evening and weekend rotations are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
• Possesses an active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a systematic approach to meet the health needs of each patient.
• Implements nursing care within the LPN scope of practice and follows applicable laws.
• Assists in teaching plans for patient health promotion and restoration.
• Cares for wounds with cleaning and dressing as needed.
• Administers medications to offenders.
• Monitors vital signs and reports changes to medical staff.
