Job summary
VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS) seeks Licensed Practical Nurses at Charles B. Webster Detention Center in Augusta, Georgia. This full-time role offers a 3x12 schedule (7AM–7:30PM and 7PM–7:30AM) with every other weekend, a competitive wage, and an annual incentive bonus.
You will deliver quality care within LPN scope, administer medications, monitor patients, and document in MAR. Requirements include graduation from an LPN program and active state license, CPR, and knowledge of applicable
Qualifications
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Possesses an active CPR certification.
- Remains knowledgeable about state laws and regulations governing practice.
- Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies.
Responsibilities
- Delivers nursing care within the LPN scope of practice and as assigned.
- Administers medications to offenders.
- Monitors vital signs and reports changes to medical staff.
- Documents actions in the MAR and medical records.
- Assists in developing and implementing teaching plans for patient health.
