Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, OH is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our Level III Birthing Center as a Cord Blood Coordinator.

In this role you will support obstetric teams, collect cord blood samples, manage data, and educate patients while maintaining compliance with regulations.

We value hands-on learning within the Cleveland Clinic system and offer day shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program.
• Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records for cord blood eligibility.
• Obtain informed consent and assist obstetrician during cord blood collection.
• Prepare collection materials and label samples.
• Enter and manage data; coordinate with Cleveland Cord Blood Center.
