Sun River Health in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Bedford Avenue location. The LPN provides direct patient care under supervision of an RN, Regional Nurse Manager, or Medical Provider.

The role includes administering prescribed medications, documenting care in patient records, and performing venipuncture for specimens to ensure timely and accurate processing and patient care within the SRH system.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• New York State LPN license required
• CPR/BLS-HCP certification required

Responsabilidades

• Accurately collects clinical data and documents nursing observations, interventions and patient responses.
• Documents nursing observations and patient responses in patient records.
• Performs venipuncture for blood specimens and facilitates processing and distribution of specimens.
• Administers prescribed medications and maintains accurate records.
• Provides age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care and participates in staff trainings.
