Community Care of West Virginia, Inc. (CCWV) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to render nursing care in assigned areas under the Director of Nursing. Responsibilities include medication administration, IV procedures after training, vital signs, and patient education.

You will collaborate with a health care team to support CCWV quality initiatives. The role requires WV LPN licensure and BLS certification, with a HS diploma and completion of an accredited LPN program.

Formación

• Current LPN license in the State of West Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of an accredited LPN program.
• One year experience in medical/surgical nursing, outpatient clinic setting, and/or area of specialty preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care in assigned areas using nursing techniques and established standards.
• Perform delegated independent nursing functions according to procedures and policies.
• Contribute to patient/caregiver plan of care based on identified problems/needs.
• Administer medications accurately following the 5 rights and document outcomes.
• Perform venous blood draws and IV insertion after training.
• Maintain communication among patient/caregiver, staff, and provider with accurate documentation.
• Provide patient/caregiver health teaching as delegated by the Director of Nursing or Provider.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in continuing education and trainings.
