Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking a dedicated LPN or CMA to provide exceptional patient care in Saint Cloud. This role involves rooming patients, communicating medical information, and assisting providers with procedures. The position requires a valid nursing or medical assistant certification and offers full-time benefits including medical, dental, and tuition reimbursement.

Candidates will work 64 hours bi-weekly with no weekends required. Starting pay ranges from $24.21 to $36.35 per hour for LPNs and from $21.54 to $32.31 per hour for CMAs, based on experience. A hiring bonus and relocation assistance are also included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required for LPN.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Minnesota is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program for CMA.
• Current certification as CMA or RMA is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient rooming for various clinic visits.
• Communicate medical results and information to patients and providers.
• Assist in daily clinic activities and document procedures accurately.
• Administer medications and immunizations under RN or provider direction.

Job description

The LPN or CMA will provide patient rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently, assist Providers with clinic procedures, accurately and appropriately document procedures and treatments in the patients' electronic medical record, perform telephone screening and gather information from patients to communicate to the RN or Provider, administer appropriate medications and immunizations to patients under the direction of the RN or provider, recognize patient’s abnormalities or urgent care needs and seek appropriate assistance.

Schedule

• Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
• Days | working hours between 8am-5pm | One set day off each week
• No weekends or major holidays

Pay and Benefits

• LPN starting pay begins at $24.21 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Pay range: $24.21 – $36.35 per hour
• CMA starting pay begins at $21.54 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Pay range: $21.54 - $32.31 per hour
• $2,500 hiring bonus for LPN, $2,000 hiring bonus for CMA

Qualifications

• LPN
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider care required per established policy
• CMA/RMA
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following certifications:
    • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
    • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
    • NCMA through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
    • National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
    • American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) – must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date
