Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse or certified medical assistant to support ambulatory care across Crosslake, Pequot, and Pine River clinics in Central Minnesota. You will provide direct patient care, assist with procedures, administer medications, and coordinate patient care plans with RNs and providers.

The position is 0.7 FTE with day shifts (7:30 AM start), no weekend work, and flexibility for hybrid options.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in the relevant state or MA certification with active credentials.
• BCLS certification required or obtainable within 3 months.
• Experience supporting ambulatory care teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient assessments including vitals and histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Coordinate care plans and follow-up appointments with the care team.
• Handle patient intake and preparation for exams or testing.
