Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our internal medicine team at the Park Rapids Clinic in Park Rapids, Minnesota. The role runs 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule—typically three days per week—plus two Saturday shifts every six months.

This is a 0.6 FTE position with no holiday or on-call rotations. Two Saturday shifts are required every six months; compensation range is listed, and licensure

Qualifications

• LPN licensure with the Minnesota state board of nursing is required upon hire.
• CMA certification or verification of CMA program with certification within one year of hire; must pass within two attempts.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN, physician and other providers with direct patient care in ambulatory setting.
• Perform identified procedures as competency allows.
• Care for patients from newborn to elderly per age-related category.
