Position Overview

This position is a full-time role working 38 hours per week. It may be eligible for a sign-on bonus; please apply to learn more. Candidates should be certified as a CMA, EMT, or LPN.

Responsibilities
  1. Room patients, perform and document vital signs and backgrounds.
  2. Coordinate provider schedules, appointments, and enter orders; prepare patient charts.
  3. Instruct patients and families within scope of licensure or certification.
  4. Assist with in-office procedures, prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
  5. Maintain exam rooms and equipment per infection control standards and ensure adequate medical supplies.
Qualifications
Education
  • Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
Experience
  • Minimum 160 hours of hands-on patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT.
Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of patient care principles, medical equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under stress, prioritize tasks, and operate EMR and office equipment effectively.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid WI Practical Nursing license, CMA/RMA certification, and EMT/AEMT license, maintained throughout employment.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
