Job summary

Apploi is seeking an RN/LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and report to the Director of Nursing.

You will plan shifts, admit/discharge residents, administer medications, maintain accurate charts, and foster a warm, safe environment. Teamwork, confidentiality, and responsive care are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN with current, unencumbered state license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and facility regulations.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents; provide leadership to staff.
• Complete records; transcribe physician orders; chart nursing notes.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain inter-department rapport and a calm, warm unit environment.
• Monitor safety and privacy; perform duties as assigned.
