Job summary

Ideal candidates will hold an unencumbered Alabama practical nursing license and have at least 3 years of full-time nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Must hold an unencumbered Alabama practical nursing license.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time nursing experience; teaching ability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and instruct assigned courses in day or evening sessions on Reid State campuses or clinical sites.
• Maintain updated course notes and syllabi; prepare paperwork for regulatory compliance.
• Provide supervision of students during clinical hours and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with the department chair to develop and review curriculum and objectives.
• Keep current nursing knowledge and clinical skills; demonstrate professional conduct.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Unencumbered Alabama practical nursing license

Three years of full-time nursing experience
