Competenze

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required in the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days unless exempted.

Mansioni

• Prepare and room patients for exams; obtain vital signs and document health information.
• Perform routine lab procedures with aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams, EMG, and wound care.
• Administer medications under orders, including immunizations, antibiotics and IV therapy as appropriate.
• Educate patients on tasks, treatments and self-care; coordinate tests, refills, and referrals.
• Maintain clean exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure equipment safety and readiness.
