Job summary

Winthrop Health & Rehab – Rome, GA seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to serve as Charge Nurse. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with RNs, CNAs and the interdisciplinary team to support residents.

This is a full-time, on-site role in a non-profit, mission-driven organization. You will supervise CNAs, document care precisely, and uphold regulatory standards while providing compassionate, patient-centered care to residents.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia or eligible.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good clinical judgment and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the care team.
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans.
• Supervise and support CNAs in delivering quality care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all clinical policies and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
