Job summary

Apple Rehab Hewitt in Shelton, CT is seeking an LPN Charge Nurse to join a 120-bed long-term care and rehabilitation team. The role involves planning and overseeing nursing services, administering medications, and ensuring high-quality resident care on a 3pm–11pm shift with weekend on-call requirements.

Competitive hourly pay up to $37 based on experience, with shift differentials and additional shifts outside scheduled hours. Per diem weekend shifts are/are not specified.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license in good standing or in the process of becoming licensed.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, long-term care regulations, and clinical procedures.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee nursing services for residents.
• Administer prescribed medications and keep accurate records.
