Job summary

Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center in Kearny, NJ is seeking a dedicated LPN Charge Nurse for a full-time, dayshift role (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM). The LPN will lead nursing care, coordinate wound management, and ensure accurate admissions and documentation while delivering compassionate resident care.

The position requires NJ LPN licensure with prior long-term care experience preferred. You will participate in education for residents and families, maintain HIPAA compliance, and uphold infection control

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in New Jersey.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and wound care skills.
• Excellent documentation and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all open wounds with proper documentation and care.
• Complete admission assessments and required paperwork accurately.
• Provide education, guidance, and support to residents and families.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and administer medications/treatments as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Manage all open wounds, including cleaning, dressing changes, and proper documentation
• Complete admission assessments and all required paperwork accurately and timely
• Provide education, guidance, and support to residents and their families
• Monitor residents’ conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Enforce infection control policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with facility standards, policies, and quality care protocols
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations

Requirements

• Valid LPN license in the State of New Jersey
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
• Strong clinical and wound care skills
• Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
• Compassionate bedside manner with leadership capabilities
