Job summary

Essentia Health's Northern Pines Care Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for a group of elderly patients. You will utilize the nursing process and teamwork to deliver compassionate care, working both cooperatively and independently under stress.

Requirements include active Minnesota LPN licensure and BCLS/CPR certification within 6 months of hire. Shift rotation includes Day/Evening/Night with weekend rotation; holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• BCLS/CPR certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of elderly patients using the nursing process and therapeutic use of self.
• Work cooperatively with the health care team and independently when appropriate.
• Provide care under stress while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
