Qualifications

• Must be a Wisconsin-licensed LPN and graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• At least one year of nursing experience required.
• Desire to work with the elderly and those with dementia with dignity and privacy.
• Ability to maintain records with attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide oversight and supervision effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations in the home.
• Recruits and retains caregivers, schedules, trains, and supervises staff.
• Assists the Administrator with other duties as needed.
• Trains and oversees caregivers in medication assistance and health monitoring.
• Maintains infection prevention practices and coordinates with physicians and pharmacies.
• Participates in admissions, assessments, and care planning.
• Documents changes in resident charts and communicates with families and providers.
