Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that all care team buckets, individual assigned items, abnormal PAP, labs, diagnostics, telephone encounters (TE), and documents within the electronic health record (EHR) are acted upon, tracked, communicated, and documented within the identified time frame. This is a full-time remote position but candidate must be local to the Orlando area.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School or equivalent; completion of accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) course required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed LPN in Health Care, Managed Care, physician practice, or clinical setting preferred.
- Team members in this role will need to be familiar with navigating daily tasks and workflows within an electronic health record (EHR) which includes creating and updating electronic documentation using electronic tools and applications on portable computing devices, results review, order entry and clinical decision support.
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail and possess a good working knowledge of electronic medical records.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must possess and maintain a current/valid Florida LPN License.
- Current/valid BLS certification or must be obtained within the first 30-days of employment.
Special Skills:
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail and possess a good working knowledge of electronic medical records.
- Ability to deal with patients effectively in upsetting situations; able to function professionally in emergency situations.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
