Job summary

White Deer Run of Allenwood in central Pennsylvania seeks a compassionate LPN/LVN to provide nursing care in a residential and detox setting. This PRN opportunity offers 10 or 8 hour shifts with competitive shift differentials and a humane, community-focused team.

Join a multidisciplinary program using CBT, 12-Step principles, and wellness activities to support adults and adolescents. You will monitor health, administer basic care, document progress, and ensure patient safety while coordinating

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
First aid may be required.
One or more years' nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
Provide for the basic comfort of patient and implement nursing interventions from the plan of care.
Discuss care with patients, report status changes to RNs and doctors.
Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors and coworkers.
Provide for safe delivery of medication per policies and physician orders.
Maintain standards of professional nursing practice and documentation of patient progress.
