Job summary

Mainspring Recovery is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality clinical care and supervision to residential clients in Lynchburg, VA. The LPN will work with behavioral health professionals to ensure standards of care are met and collaborate with the nursing team.

The role is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, with a rotating 7:00pm-7:30am shift and weekend coverage as needed. Virginia LPN license is required, with at least six months of LPN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Virginia LPN license and renew per Virginia standards.
• Minimum 6 months LPN clinical experience; mental health experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage client medical needs and refer as needed.
• Review medications and update medical records for admissions.
• Perform initial intake with vital signs and monitor health parameters.
• Maintain medication carts and document nurse interactions in charts.
• Collaborate with treatment team on patient progress and medical care.
