Job summary

Acadia Healthcare’s Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care within a psychiatric setting. You will follow the nursing process, work with a team, and uphold patient safety and compassionate care.

Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and at least one year of nursing experience; current LPN/LVN license; CPR and de-escalation training. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
• Collaborate with others to meet patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs and address complaints.
• Provide for the basic comfort of patients and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure safe delivery of medications per orders and policies.
• Document patient symptoms, responses and progress accurately.
