Essential functions include delivering quality care, documenting findings, implementing treatment plans, conducting bedside tests and ensuring safe medication administration, communication, and ongoing care coordination.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license and ability to practice in the state.
• Experience delivering nursing care in a hospital or acute setting.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality nursing care to assigned patients per unit protocol under RN direction.
• Documents all findings accurately in the patient record and communicates outcomes.
• Implements care interventions per the multidisciplinary treatment plan with the team.
• Conducts bedside labs, wound care, and assists with ADLs.
• Supports coping and adaptation for patients facing illness or stress.
• Provides culturally appropriate communication and notes special needs.
• Delivers medications safely per orders and ensures patient understanding.
• Transcribes orders accurately and conducts chart audits per guidelines.
• Utilizes nursing knowledge to meet patient and facility needs.
• Precepts and mentors new staff; participates in additional duties as assigned.
