Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Inc. is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our assisted living program in Ohio. The role involves delivering nursing services, medication administration, and supervising STNAs under established guidelines.

Candidates must hold an accredited nursing degree and an active Ohio LPN license with CPR. Experience with Point Click Care is a plus; we offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive caregiving environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program, college or university.
• Active Ohio LPN license and CPR current.
• Experience with Point Click Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing services to residents and promotes well-being as directed by management.
• Directs day-to-day STNA functions per rules and guidelines for long-term care.
• Administers medications as ordered by the physician.
• Focuses on providing high-quality service.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' information.
• Attends required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Demonstrates literacy, writing, documentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Makes prompt judgments regarding elder care and emergencies.
• Works and communicates effectively with minimum supervision in a team.
