Qualifications

Position Overview

An Ohio-based healthcare company is recruiting an LPN Assistant Director of Nursing to join the leadership team at a Cincinnati facility.

The LPN Assistant Director of Nursing assists the DON with planning, organizing, developing, and directing the Nursing Department's overall operations.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Current LPN license in the state of Ohio.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or a graduate of an approved LPN program.
  • Minimum of 5 years of LPN supervisory experience, preferably in long-term care.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Long Term Care and Behavioral Health.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, standards, laws, and regulations related to long-term care.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills with team members, residents, families, and external agencies.
  • Leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Ability to develop and implement care programs, policies, and procedures.
