Liberty Senior Living in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as Assisted Living Area Director — LPN. In this leadership role you will oversee admissions, assess resident needs, and develop care plans.

You will supervise resident care staff, ensure medication administration and charting, train staff on policies and Point Click Care, and coordinate with physicians. This role requires compassion, strong communication, and geriatric expertise.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse with supervisory experience in ACH/CRCF or Long-Term Care settings.
• Must be qualified as Supervisor-in-Charge based on state rules.
• Experience working with geriatric and dementia residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions process including interviewing and paperwork completion.
• Assess resident needs and develop/monitor care plans.
• Supervise resident care staff and manage performance assessments.
• Coordinate medication administration and charting for residents.
• Train staff on policies and use of Point Click Care and related systems.
• Communicate with families and physicians to coordinate care.
