Job Details

  • Ambulatory experience preferred.

The LPN is prepared to function as a member of the health-care team by exercising sound nursing judgment based on preparation, knowledge, experience in nursing and competency. The LPN participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care using focused assessment. Under the direction and supervision of the licensed clinical team member, LPNs carry out selected nursing acts for patients that effectively address the individual needs and priorities of the patient and are consistent with their cultural beliefs and values.

  • \u0009An LPN shall communicate with a registered nurse, physician, and the patient's health care team members to seek guidance with patient care.
  • \u0009An LPN may collect data as allowed by the licensed practical nurse scope of practice as defined by the Pennsylvania/New Jersey Nurse Practice Act
  • \u0009Work closely with the registered nurse to assure the implementation of safe, quality care of the emergency department patients.
