Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center in Beachwood, OH is seeking an LPN to join a collaborative care team delivering compassionate, top‑quality ambulatory nursing. As an LPN you will assist with outpatient surgical care, scribe during visits, provide preoperative and postoperative education, and help build lasting relationships with patients throughout their surgical journey.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm with adjustments based on facility

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
• Current Ohio license as LPN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery (ENT), and Cosmetic Dermatology providers.
• Scribe during office visits to support providers and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Assist with outpatient surgical care.
• Prepare and assist during local office procedures.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient education.
• Build long term relationships with patients throughout their surgical journey.
• Develop specialized skills in a fast paced procedural environment.
• Occasionally float to other Cleveland Clinic ambulatory locations to support operational needs.

A caregiver in this position will work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm. Hours will ultimately be based on facility needs.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of patient care experience

Physical Requirements

• Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good hand-eye coordination, involves extensive standing walking and occasional lifting.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
• Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $23.25

Maximum hourly: $33.50
