Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) eligible to practice in the State of Florida.
• One (1) year of ambulatory care or hospital experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Excellent patient/customer service skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented with effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs.
• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare for exams/procedures.
• Assist health care provider with exams/procedures.
• Provide patient support during exams.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms.
• Administer medications.
• Process patient phone calls per practice protocols.
• Instruct patients regarding health care and treatments.
• Provide health care provider with information pertaining to patients' health status.
