Job summary

CentraCare Health in Saint Cloud, MN is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a busy clinic. The role includes patient rooming, documenting care in the EMR, assisting providers, and performing telephone screenings.

You will administer medications and immunizations under RN or provider direction. Full-time schedule offers 72 hours per two weeks, 9-hour days (Mon-Thu, 7:30am-5pm) with no weekends or major holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current LPN licensure in the State of Minnesota
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification per policy

Job description

The LPN will provide patient rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently, assist Providers with clinic procedures, accurately and appropriately document procedures and treatments in the patients' electronic medical record, perform telephone screening and gather information from patients to communicate to the RN or Provider, administer appropriate medications and immunizations to patients under the direction of the RN or provider, recognize patient’s abnormalities or urgent care needs and seek appropriate assistance.

Schedule

• Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
• Days | 9-hour shifts | 7:30am-5pm | Monday-Thursday
• No weekends or major holidays

Pay and Benefits

• LPN starting pay begins at $24.21 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Pay range: $24.21 – $36.35 per hour

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider cared required per established policy

To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

To be eligible for the relocation bonus you must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away andrelocate to within 30 miles of primary work location within 120 days.
