Base pay will be determined by skills and experience. The role is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
  • Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and receive quality care as their needs change.
  • Maintain consistent quality resident care across all shifts; may involve assuming roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet staffing needs.
  • Supervise licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training; manage staff schedules.
  • Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration; conduct periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale guidelines.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required.
  • Education required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and 1-2 years relevant experience.
  • LPN or LVN license required.
