Peak Rehabilitation Hospital in Apex, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time Day shift (7a–7p) with rotating weekends, on-call, and holidays. The role emphasizes medication administration, patient assessments, education, and rehabilitation-focused care in a collaborative team setting.

Current LPN license and CPR/BLS are required; IV certification is preferred or obtainable within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must hold active LPN license/certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• IV certification strongly preferred or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications safely and accurately.
• Assists RN with patient assessments and reassessments.
• Develops rehabilitation nursing interventions and updates care plans.
• Delivers patient care based on treatment response and educates patients/families on plans.
