Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform focused patient assessments within scope of practice.
• Monitor and document vital signs, pain, intake/output, and clinical changes.
• Provide basic nursing care (hygiene, toileting, repositioning, mobility).
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Administer medications per scope, including IVs after orientation.
• Document accurately in the EMR and communicate changes to the RN.
