Night Shift Incentive Program

Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision, following applicable standards and UCHealth policies.

The role is onsite with a night shift schedule and a quarterly night incentive. Candidates must graduate from an approved LPN program and hold an active state license; BLS/CPR certification is required before start date with coverage through hire. UCHealth offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
• Active state licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN).
• BLS/CPR certification required before start date and valid through 60 days after start.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to patient assessment by collecting data for RN review.
• Implements plan of care interventions including wound care and specimen collection.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, nutrition, mobility).
• Monitors and communicates patient status and reaction to interventions.

Department: Clinical Care Annex

Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $26.34 - $40.82 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Work nights, earn more - our Night Shift Incentive Program pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400/year) to full-time night shift RNs and LPNs

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.


• Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN).


• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
