Job summary

UCHealth Estes Valley Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for an on-site, full-time position with day shifts. You will provide hands-on patient care under supervision, perform wound care and data collection, and assist with activities of daily living to support recovery and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
• State licensure as an LPN or LVN.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through start date and 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to patient assessment by collecting data for RN review.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including wound care and specimen collection.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Monitors and communicates patient status and response to interventions.
• Supports a culture of caring and quality in UCHealth facilities.

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Estes Valley Medical Center

Department: Positions available in primary care and specialty care clinics. Specialty care including Cardiology, Ortho, Urology, Neurology, and more.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $22.75 - $35.26 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN).
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.

Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.

Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions.
