Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking an LPN for the Cardiology/Medical/Surgical unit. The role focuses on performing nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a 7:00 am to 7:00 pm shift, with a 0.9 FTE status. Candidates must hold a current Alabama LPN license and have hospital experience; BLS and basic EKG training are required.

Experience with unit competency, independent work, and Windows-based computer systems is preferred to support patient care and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Successful course completion in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Successful course completion of institutional basic EKG course (interpretation of life-threatening dysrhythmias).
• Annual completion of unit-specific competency requirements.
• Must show initiative and ability to function independently.

Responsibilities
