Job summary

Gateway CSB in Savannah, GA is seeking an LPN for a full-time overnight role to provide nursing and paraprofessional services under RN supervision. You will perform patient care, administer medications, and assist with admissions/discharges, following MD orders and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, documenting clinical information, educating patients about treatments, and coordinating with the treatment team. Travel between Gateway sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license without restrictions.
• 6 months of experience as LPN.
• Under the clinical supervision of RN, provides patient care.
• Ability to administer medications safely and accurately.
• Ability to transcribe physician orders and document patient information.
• Ability to observe for adverse medication effects and report findings.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some minor travel between Gateway sites is required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer.
