Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our per diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling with competitive hourly pay.

You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, administer medications, document patient information, and coordinate care with the healthcare team on a per diem basis.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
