Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is actively seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our per diem team across Hampton Roads. This role offers per diem scheduling, competitive pay, and options for same-day or next-day pay.

Expect to provide essential nursing care, administer meds, document patient information, and coordinate with the care team. Per diem positions include flexible hours, with opportunities for full-time hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Requirements
