Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced LPNs to join our per diem team serving Hampton Roads and surrounding areas. You will provide nursing care, administer meds, document patient info, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling, per diem pay, and weekly pay; benefit options include same-day or next-day pay and potential signing bonuses after two shifts. Active LPN license required and BLS/CPR current.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license must be active and in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Education
