Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem shifts offer flexibility and competitive hourly pay:

Expect $37–$39 per hour with same-day or next-day pay options and a hiring bonus after two shifts completed. Local applicants preferred; equal opportunity employer. Per diem positions require active LPN licensure and a minimum of one year of facility-based experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Requirements
