Job summary

Vancrest Health Care Centers in Eaton, Ohio is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our care team for 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) or 3rd shift (6pm-6am).

You will implement resident care plans, administer treatments, support assessments, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care. A valid LPN license is required and we offer competitive benefits including medical, dental, life insurance and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Implementing a resident plan of care.
• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations.
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegating suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, provides guidance and supervision when necessary.
• Consulting with and validating data.
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record.
• Identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments.
• Communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care.
• Assuming responsibility for professional growth and development.
