Job summary

Fairmont of Washington Township, a 144-bed senior living community in Dayton, OH, is seeking an LPN to provide direct nursing care and supervise CNAs, ensuring high-quality care in line with regulatory standards.

As a Montessori‑Inspired Living® environment, we emphasize dignity, equality, and respect for residents and staff. The role requires active LPN licensure, 18+ years old, English proficiency, and desirable nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State, or in training to satisfactorily complete requirements to become an LPN.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must read and write in a legible and understandable manner.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Previous experience in a nursing capacity desirable.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures and laws.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations desirable.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

To provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities of Certified Nursing Assistants in accordance with federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed by the RN, Director of Nursing Services and Administration, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.
