Avantara Mountain View in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for overnight shifts. We offer 12-hour shifts, part-time or full-time options, and an every-other-weekend schedule with a supportive team.

You will ensure residents receive medications and nursing care per care plans, conduct assessments, lead a care team, and advocate for residents. An unencumbered SD LPN license is required; prior LPN experience is preferred, and we invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered South Dakota LPN license required.
• LPN experience preferred, but training considered for right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and nursing care per resident care plans.
• Conduct resident assessments and act as a team leader.
• Advocate for residents and ensure comfort and safety.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN license. Prior Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

As a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Mountain View by ensuring residents receive the medication and nursing care they need as directed by their individual care plan, conducting resident assessments, being a team leader, and advocating for your residents. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
